BLOODY MARY.

I got an email invite to a “Bloody Monday ” Cocktail + Culinary Competition at Congaree and Penn to showcase their new Creole Tomato Shrub.

I thought to myself: “I don’t even like Bloody Mary’s”. The kicker was, the competitors were the best chefs, best bartenders in town, and it was media invite only! One of my life rules is networking is key and to surround myself with great people. I decided to follow the rules and pushed myself to go and I’m glad I did. I met a wedding photographer that gave me photography tips the whole time. She let me use some really expensive lenses for my camera that I’ve always wanted to try. I met someone with their own public relations and marketing business and we’ve already met for coffee to collaborate. I met the person that invited me to judge the Taste of Golf event at TPC Sawgrass. Taste of Golf is a culinary event showcasing the very best chefs from the top private clubs and resorts in North Florida. I totally forgot about it and she reminded me that it was in a few days.

We were in for a treat. All the competitors went for it. They all made huge Bloody Mary’s with unique ingredients and cool show pieces. To learn more about The Creole Tomato Shrub click here!
