I was eating lunch at Tapa That with my friend Allie and she told me about a lil hole in the wall french bakery called Ribault Bakery. I looked it up on Yelp to get the inside scoop…Chocolate croissants, Croissant cinnamon rolls, French pastries, organic coffee…yeah I got a lil time for dat! The owner Alex use to sell at local farmer’s markets but now he has his own spot.

I decided to go with the Croissant cinnamon roll and a Peach pastry. It was only $5 for both. =)

Croissant cinnamon roll

If you closed your eyes you would think Cinnabon but with a super flaky buttery crust. I loved it.

Dissected Croissant cinnamon roll

Dissected Peach pastry

The peach pastry had a buttery flaky crust, but it was all about the sweet glaze that was on the peaches. Not overly sweet but just right.

In the end, if your craving desserts come to Ribault Bakery. I haven’t tried the bread yet, so you tell me. It’s a hidden gem in the riverside area down the street from Black Sheep, Al’s pizza, and Publix. Tell the owner Alex that Nate sent you!
