Trasca x Nate Does Food Event Recap
The 8-course dinner at Trasca & Co Eatery was nothing short of amazing. Trasca Eatery & Co is a restaurant centered around family time built and refined by the Frasca family. What makes the Trasca experience so special is the familiarity in uniqueness. Their signature dish, the panino, is rolled-up sandwich made from a thin dough. The stand out panino throughout the dinner was by far the Spaghetti Pie. Definitely an odd-ball stand out, the Spaghetti Pie featured homemade meatballs and marinara sauce.
Sara Frasca spent the evening explaining each course to the group while also giving us a little bit of insight and background on where Trasca got its start. She explained they make everything in house with recipes that have been passed down through generations while also sourcing the freshest ingredients they can find.
Like I said before, Trasca is so special because they do things a little bit different but still have a familiar feel. For example, Sara described their fountain drink they offer, Puck’s Soda, which is an all natural sugar can soda sourced from New Jersey. I was very happy to be invited and part of this dinner thanks to Nate Does Food, I love seeing small businesses succeed in our community.
