Sushi, burritos, and Japanese food. These are a few of my favorite things. and with their powers combined: Sushi freakin Burrito! Before this i have only heard and seen pics of this mystical burrito.

Kazu Japanese (their sister restaurant) has won best sushi every year since they have been open according to Folio Weekly. and for good reason: Owner David Chen has a thing for quality. He is the only sushi spot in Jacksonville that fly’s in fish from Japan and he even makes his very own Ginger dressing. It will knock your hair back when you try it and it make you forget bout the typical ginger dressing you get a normal Japanese resto. When my friends told me that he was opening a Sushi burrito restaurant i was fired up. I’ve seen sushi burritos online in Cali and NYC and always wanted to try one. This def saves me a plane ticket. I messaged him immediately and a couple of days later he invited me to a friends and family soft opening.
Kazu Sushi Burrito – We chose Soy paper instead of seaweed, Spicy Tuna, salmon, shrimp tempura, avocado, cucumber, mango, tobiko, tempura flakes, shrimp sauce.
The Spectrum Sushi Burrito – Tuna, salmon, white tuna, avacado, cucumber, cilantro, red onion, spicy mayo, and wasabi mayo.
My favorite roll at Kazu is The Spectrum Roll, so i knew that i had to have the spectrum sushi burrito.
The Jacksonville food scene is booming! write something bout it being a nice unique addition
Kazu sushi burrito is essentially a Chipotle/Subway for Sushi. If you’re a sushi lover, this is a must.
